Intelligence quotient (IQ) scores were available for 71% of children identified with autism by MN-ADDM. Intellectual disability is defined as IQ score ≤ 70.

Across the overall ADDM Network, among children identified with autism who had IQ information available, 40% also had intellectual disability.

Intelligence quotient (IQ) scores were available for 61% of children identified with autism across all the ADDM Network.

Knowing prevalence of co-occurring disabilities helps plan for future support learning needs.
